“WEB 5000” AT PICTOPLASMA BERLIN

Sishir Bommakanti’s “Web 5000.0” intro animation, featuring an original musical score and sound design by Cool Cat Audio, will screen as part of the Pictoplasma Berlin Conference of Contemporary Art from May 7-10, 2026.

Pictoplasma Berlin 2026 kicks off on the evening of Wednesday, May 6, with the opening of the accompanying group exhibition and a first, informal get-together. The main Conference with lectures, panels, presentations and screenings starts Thursday morning, May 7, and will keep attendees pretty much busy until Sunday afternoon, May 10. This year’s animation selection will present a total of 100 entries on 3 screens in 6 curated programs.

“Web 5000.0” will screen during one of these programs (approx. 70 min) between May 7–9, and will be streamed as part of the conference's online broadcast (exclusively for registered remote attendees as a one time live stream only, no download, not public). On Sunday, May 10, all 6 screening programs will run again for the local Berlin festival audience.
